SINGLES DRAW & MATCH FORMAT: The Singles event is a “Full-Feed In Draw,” which means ALL PLAYERS will play at least two singles matches, regardless of whether they win or lose. The SINGLES draw & starting times will be posted on Friday, July 16.

  • Singles Main Draw & 3rd/4th Playoff: Best of 3 tie-break sets
  • Singles Full Feed-In Consolation: Best of 3 tie-break sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set - New in 2010 (USTA Rule Change)

DOUBLES SIGN-IN & DRAW FORMAT: All players MUST re-register at the Player’s Registration)with matches beginning on Sunday, July 18 (rounds 1 and 2). If you know your doubles team, please e-mail the team to IBaron@YellowTennisBall.com (Important: make sure we reply back to you to confirm receipt of the e-mail). All singles players may play doubles. If you do not have a partner, please let us know at Registration and we will do our best to pair you with another person. PLAYERS MAY ONLY PLAY DOUBLES IN THE SAME DIVISION AS THEY ARE PLAYING SINGLES. 

  • Doubles 'Single Elimination' Format: Doubles matches shall use the best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, except for the for the semifinals, final & 3rd/4th playoff, which will be the best of 3 tiebreak sets - New in 2010 (USTA Rule Change)

ALTERNATE INFORMATON

  • Replacing of Player Before Draw is Made: The tournament committee shall replace a player who was accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next player on the Section's endorsement list. The tournament committee shall replace a player who was NOT accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next highest remaining alternate

  • Replacing of Player After Draw is Made, but Before the Completion of the 1st Round: The tournament committee shall replace a player after the draw is made, but before the completion of the 1st round with the next highet remaining alternate... No Replacement of Players is Made After the Completion of the 1st Round: No players are replaced in the draw after the completion of the 1st round. For example, a player who wins their 1st round, but cannot play their 2nd round due to injury, is NOT replaced with an alternate.

ATHLETIC TRAINERS: Athletic training services for this tournament are proudly being provided by Premier Sports Medicine, LLC. Premier Sports Medicine is a Florida based outreach athletic training company that provides services to many different camps and tournaments throughout the sunshine state. Our certified athletic trainers provide emergency medical coverage for sporting events of all levels. We are certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and are licensed by the state of Florida. Adam Greenfield, ATC, LAT, is the owner and head athletic trainer and is now working with junior national tennis for the 5th straight year. Adam and the Premier Sports Medicine staff will be available throughout the week at the match sites. If you have specific injury needs you would like to address prior to or during the tournament, please feel free to contact Premier Sports Medicine directly. MASSAGE THERAPY: Jim Early, who has worked closely with Olympic swimmer and multiple-gold medal winner Michael Phelps, the U. of Pennsylvania men's tennis and track teams, the U. of Virginia tennis teams & the Princeton swim, tennis, and lacrosse teams, will be based at the Delray Swim & Tennis Club for any massage therapy sessions. TOURNAMENT STRINGER:  Pro Circuit Stringing is the Official Stringing Company of the event. They will be based at one of the tournament hotels (TBA). Cell: 678-428-3649. $16 per racket.

TOURNAMENT LOCATIONS
The Boys' 18s & 16s sites are 10-15 minutes away from each other. The sites are approximately 25 minutes south of West Palm Beach Airport, 30 minutes north of Ft. Lauderdale Airport, and 1 hour north of Miami Airport.

Directions: I-95 to Yamato (west), right on St. Andrews (north), community ahead, tell gate your with the USTA Nationals, make right after gate, courts on right. Club Rules: Players may not wear sleeveless shirts.

***ALL BOYS' 18 & 16 MATCHES WILL BE MOVED TO THE DELRAY BEACH TENNIS CENTER FOR DAYS 6 - 8 (Weather pending) The tournament will be creating a televised highlight show featuring the finals of both the Boys' 18 & 16's singles finals.

PRE-TOURNAMENT CAMP
& HITTING LESSONS:: 10 - 11:30am (Saturday, July 17) at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. Call 561-243-7360 for camp entry ($35pp) and/or hitting lessons.

PRE-TOURNAMENT CAMP: The International Tennis Academy USA (ITA-USA), this years sponsor of the Boys 16's and 18's Clay Court Super Nationals in Delray Beach, Florida is hosting a Pre-Tournament Camp for those athletes that are participating in this years event. Daily camp sessions will be offered the week of July 12-17 leading up to the start of the tournament.
