PRE-EVENT CAMPS & HITTING LESSONS
  • July 12 - 17 - The International Tennis Academy USA (ITA-USA), this years sponsor of the Boys 16's and 18's Clay Court Nationals in Delray Beach, Florida is hosting a Pre-Tournament Camp for those athletes that are participating in this years event. Daily camp sessions will be offered the week of July 12-17 leading up to the start of the tournament.   • July 17th - Gabe Jaramillo former coach to Andre Agassi, Tommy Haas, Maria Sharapova, and Monica Seles; and partner Scott Del Mastro both of the International Tennis Academy USA, our 2010 Tournament Sponsor, will be hosting a complimentary "Clay Court Preparation Sparing & Drilling Clinic" 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Delray Swim and Tennis Center on Saturday July 17th. The clinic will focus on getting participants together to train on the clay courts of Florida  allowing them to hit a large number of balls with specific patterns of play to prepare for the ensuing competition of the tournamnent.  It should be noted that no technical instruction will be given, unless specifically requested. Eligible participants* and of all parents/coaches of ALL of the participants may attend and have the opportunity to meet and exchange information with the attending college coaches. Entry to the "Expo" is free, and the list of attending college coaches will be announced shortly.

*Please comply with NCAA rules that state - "players may attend if they have not yet signed a letter of intent with another college and have completed their junior year of high school."

  • 3:00 - 3:30pm:      RECRUITING SEMINAR - JULY 17. As they do every year, Scholarship For Athletes will give a complimentary educational presentation to all participants and event guests about the college recruiting process and college scholarships (Saturday, July 17). SFA is a consulting firm that helps student-athletes make sure they end up at the best school for them on and off of the court. If you have questions about the differences between schools, what you should be doing now, or finding the schools that match your tennis level, Scholarship For Athletes can help you.
