The USTA Boys’ 18 & 16 Clay Court National Championships is making another splash in Delray Beach, Florida, July 18 – 25, 2010. The Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center will serve as the main venue for both the Boys’ 18s and 16s tournaments, with three other venues also hosting matches including Delray Swim and Tennis Club, Broken Sound Country Club, and Boca West Country Club. Admission to watch these future red, white, and blue stars is FREE.
Notoriously strong, past
Qualifying draws of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC),
an ATP World Tour event held February 18-27, 2011, included players like Taylor Dent, Robert Kendrick, Kei
Nishikori, Robby Ginepri, Donald Young, & Xavier Malisse to name a few.
Therefore, (drum roll, please)…
New in
2011 the Boys 18’s Singles WINNER will receive a WILDCARD
into the Qualifying Draw of the Delray Beach ITC! Also new…The United States Tennis
Association (USTA) will award the Boys 18's Singles WINNER a Singles Main Draw WILDCARD
at the US Open Juniors & a Main Draw WILDCARD into a Futures Event. The Boys
16's Singles WINNER will receive a Singles Qualifying WILDCARD at a USTA Men’s
Futures Event (players must be age eligible). Keep your eye on YellowTennisBall.com to see how the junior Boys’ 18
Singles WINNER will fare in the Men’s ATP World Tour Qualifying draw (February
19 & 20, 2011).
